Michael Jackson’s Dr. Deadly Weapon!

I love Michael Jackson, let me start with that. I am not unique or alone in my love and admiration for this wonderful man. A man who was flawed to be sure, but a human being that I am proud to have shared the Earth with. I say flawed yet not in the way that some of you may think. I do not and have never believed the allegation of abuse that was hit upon him through greedy mothers. But flawed with the people he chose to be around. This man was a man who needed someone strong to say “STOP!” at the risk of Michael disowning them or firing them, but someone to step in and help him. Although I do agree that one cannot be helped until they themselves want and desire the help.

On Monday, November 07, 2011 Dr. Conrad Murray, age 58 was convicted of Involuntary Manslaughter of the murder of Michael Jackson, age 50. Murray will not be sentenced until November 29, 2011.

This is not about whether Michael would have done it himself or found someone else to administer the lethal drugs. The PHYSICIAN should have walked away if his patient was not doing what he told him to do. I work in hospice. We deal with narcotics DAILY and when there is a patient and/or family member who is a drug abuser then we monitor those medications and ration them out to the patient. What he should have done is walked away. He should have resigned his position with Michael. Then Michael would have been left to take the medication on his own or have someone else do it. But that didn’t happen because this so called doctor was too concerned with his own bottom line. He wanted that paycheck more than he wanted Michael to live. He took an oath – DO NO HARM. He is going to jail because he threw his Hippocratic Oath out the window and only cared about himself.

It makes no difference whether its Michael Jackson or Willie Lump Lump from around the way. As a physician he should have known better. He has the power to order scripts because he has the knowledge and expertise to prescribe them correctly and to aid in the patient’s continued health. He did not do that. His trial was fair.

Michael was a human being. Do you know how much trust we put in our physicians? SOOO MUCH – sometimes too much. But we trust them and we do what they instruct us to do because that is their role to give us the best medical advice. Emotional? Out for blood? Personal? You damn right it is!!! Because that could have been your mother, your child, your brother, YOU and you take that script, go to the pharmacy, and fill it to the letter – why? because your doctor told you to! That’s his crime. Not the “killing of Michael Jackson”

It is the same as if a person who was a master karate expert gets into a fight and “accidently” kills another person. He is tried and convicted because his expertise makes him a “deadly weapon”. This physician was was deadly weapon.

I look forward to your responses! Let’s talk about it!

And while you think of what to say let’s hear a little from the boy I grew up with: Mr. Michael Jackson:

I’m a lifetime fan of Michael Jackson and I never believe in the rumor and allegation of Mr. Michael Jackson. I always thought it was B.S. I never met the man in real life, but he was always in my heart. You right about that Dr. Murray should of walk-away, he said he was a friend of Mr. Jackson, but I guess that’s not a friend when he drug him. Michael Jackson didn’t drug himself, I don’t believe that.

  3. This is just so sad to and many others that Michael died this way. Such a talent. But now I try not to think about it and to just remember the man and the wonderful music he gave to the world.
